British Petroleum Claims

The Deepwater Horizon disaster, in April 20, 2010, is the worst maritime spill in U.S. history.
It happened when an explosion sank the platform leased by oil giant BP in the Gulf of Mexico.

Although not recognizes its responsibility, British Petroleum (BP) reached a settlement of 7.800 million dollars with private plaintiffs.
The settlement will benefit thousands of people affected by the spill.
